* WHAT…For the Winter Weather Advisory, freezing drizzle. Ice
accumulations around a light glaze. For the Winter Storm Warning,
total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches and total ice
accumulations up
to one tenth of an inch. Northerly winds gusting 25-35 mph.

* WHERE…Graham and Norton Counties.

* WHEN…For the Winter Weather Advisory, until noon CST today. For
the Winter Storm Warning, from noon today to 6 PM CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will likely
become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult. Areas
of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Precipitation will begin as freezing drizzle
Saturday and then transition to light freezing rain or sleet
Saturday afternoon. Precipitation will transition to snow Saturday
evening. Heavy snow and blowing snow are expected late Saturday
night and Sunday morning. Snow will end from west to east Sunday
afternoon. The heaviest snow is forecast to occur late Saturday
evening through mid morning Sunday Wind chills Sunday morning are
forecast around 10 below zero creating an extra hazard if caught
outside. Portions of Graham county may see some banding resulting
in locally higher snowfall amounts.
