* WHAT…Snow. Total snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches. Locations
along the Columbia River will generally see 1 to 2 inches. The
mountains above 3000 feet will see 4 to 8 inches, with locally
higher amounts in Idaho.

* WHERE…Metaline, Athol, Northport, Springdale-Hunters Road,
Eastport, Newport, Deer Park, Chewelah, Fruitland, Orin-Rice Road,
Priest River, Colville, Schweitzer Mountain Road, Kettle Falls,
Flowery Trail Road, Metaline Falls, Ione, Sandpoint, Clark Fork,
Bonners Ferry, and Tiger.

* WHEN…From 9 AM this morning to 10 AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be difficult. The conditions could impact
the Friday evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snow will not reach the Canadian border till
11 am or after. There is a 20 to 30 percent chance of freezing
rain across northern Spokane and Kootenai counties as well as
southern Stevens and Bonner counties. Ice accumulations would be a
light glaze to five hundredths.
