* WHAT…Light snow showers above 3500 feet. Additional snow
accumulations up to two inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE…Haywood, Madison, Mitchell, Swain, and Yancey Counties
above 3500 feet.

* WHEN…Until 1 PM EST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS…The snowfall will create slippery and snow covered
roadways. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
