from Gulkana south and west. Additional snow accumulations of 4
to 8 inches from Gulkana north and east.
* WHERE…Copper River Basin.
* WHEN…Through 4 AM AKST Monday.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Cold wind chills
toward the Alaska Range will be as low as 35 below zero and could
cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Steady, and at times, heavy snow is
expected to continue through tomorrow morning across the Basin. The
heaviest snow amounts will be across the northern Copper River
Basin, especially near Paxson and along the Tok Cutoff.
