drizzle creating less than 0.1 inches of ice accumulations on
surfaces.
* WHERE…Carlton, south St. Louis, south Cook, and south Lake
Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band
and the Grand Portage Reservation.
* WHEN…From 4 PM Saturday to 3 PM CST Sunday.
* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Snowfall is most likely Saturday late morning
and into the afternoon hours. From Saturday evening and throughout
Sunday, freezing drizzle is expected to create less than one tenth
of an inch of ice on untreated surfaces. The best chances for the
highest amount of ice accumulations Saturday night into Sunday
morning will be in the higher terrain of the North Shore and on
top of the hill in the immediate Duluth metro region.
