inches. Blowing snow from wind gusts of 25-40 mph will reduce
visibilities, this afternoon.
* WHERE…Southern Big Horn, Carter, Powder River, and Southern
Rosebud.
* WHEN…Until noon MST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
become slick and hazardous this evening. Areas of blowing snow
will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
will impact the morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The lowest visibilities will accompany the
strongest winds this afternoon, ending by the evening hours. Road
temperatures will fall below freezing tonight, allowing for melted
precipitation to refreeze on roadways, including Highway 212 and
portions of I-90.
