…LAKE EFFECT SNOWS EXPECTED ONCE AGAIN ACROSS THE SNOWBELTS OF
NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING…

…Initial lesser organized lake effect snow showers during the day
Tuesday into Tuesday night will eventually become more organized
later Tuesday night into Wednesday as temperatures fall into the
teens and 20s by Wednesday night. The period of heaviest lake effect
snows will be Wednesday through Thursday evening, with the greatest
accumulations occurring across the snowbelts of northwest lower
Michigan.

* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 6 to
12 inches possible, with amounts as high as 18 inches possible
across the snowbelts of northwest lower Michigan. Winds could gust
as high as 30 mph, creating instances of blowing and drifting snow
(particularly in the more open areas), along with significantly
reduced visibilities.

* WHERE…A portion of Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN…From Tuesday evening through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible as roads
become slippery and snow covered. The hazardous conditions will
likely impact commutes from Wednesday morning through Thursday
evening.
