.A clipper type system will bring the first widespread accumulating
snow to the region through early Friday morning. A swath of 5 to 8
inches is expected from central to northeast Wisconsin. Higher
amounts of 7 to 10 inches are forecast near Lake Michigan where lake
enhancement is expected. Locally higher amounts up to a foot could
occur where lake enhancement is most persistent. Lesser snowfall
amounts will occur over north-central Wisconsin.
