* WHAT…The Winter Weather Advisory, has expired. However,
lingering snow showers remain in the area for another few hours.
For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow. Snow accumulations
between 3 to 8 inches below 5500 feet west of Highway 395 with 12
to 20 inches above 5500 feet. Localized amounts up to 3 feet on
the highest peaks. Wind gusts as high as 45 mph. Ridge wind gusts
as high as 75 mph.

* WHERE…Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties.

* WHEN…From 7 AM Friday to 10 PM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the commutes Friday and
Saturday. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Even though, the winter weather advisory has
expired difficult travel conditions persist for the next several
hours due to the accumulated snow. If traveling, check the latest
