Special Weather Statement issued January 8 at 7:58AM MST by NWS Missoula MT

At 755 AM MST, Doppler radar was tracking intense snow showers along
a line extending along Interstate 90 from Missoula to Drummond and
Highway 93 from Missoula to Hamilton. One half inch to 1 inch per
hour rates have been observed with half mile visibility. Movement
was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Visibility one-half mile or less.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Low visibility could result in dangerous driving
conditions.

Locations impacted include…
Hamilton, Drummond, Stevensville, Florence, Victor, Woodside,
Grantsdale, Nimrod, Maxville, Jens, Potomac, New Chicago, Clearwater,
Bearmouth, Quigley, Corvallis, Clinton, Garnet, Bell Crossing, and
Skalkaho Pass.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 90 between mile markers 114 and 163.
Highway 83 between mile markers 0 and 1.
Highway 93 S between mile markers 43 and 78.
Highway 200 E between mile markers 12 and 32.
