A band of lake effect snow showers across northwest Indiana is
expected to continue to shift eastward late this evening and into
the overnight hours. Snowfall accumulations for most locations of
an inch or less are expected for western Berrien into northern La
Porte Counties. Some localized accumulations in the 1 to 3 inch
range are possible across far northern LaPorte County and extreme
southwest Berrien County tonight. In addition, there is a low
chance of some patchy light freezing drizzle away from the
stronger lake effect snow showers tonight into early Tuesday
morning. Motorists should be prepared for the possibility of slick
conditions across these locations tonight into the Tuesday morning
commute.
