An area of rain will move across the northern Plateau, northeast
Tennessee, and southwest Virginia through early Monday morning.
Pockets of sub-freezing temperatures remain will make travel
difficult especially across elevated surfaces, such as bridges and
overpasses.
The warm air advection will eventually warm temperatures above
freezing overnight but isolated areas will experience additional
ice accumulations. Additional ice accumulations of 0.05 inch are
possible. Drivers should use caution and be prepared for icy
roadways.
