Satellite images and surface observations indicate that patchy
fog…some locally dense…continues to develop across portions of
the northwest Hill Country and the Heartland early this morning. A
weak cold front was draped across the Concho Valley and the
Heartland. Winds will be calm across the area this morning and
patchy fog will develop along and ahead of the front. Visibilities
will be reduced to less than a mile in general with isolated areas
reduced to a quarter of a mile or less in dense fog. If the fog
continues to increase in coverage and reduce visibilities lower
than currently expected, a dense fog advisory will likely be
needed later this morning.
If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave
plenty of distance between you and others.
