At 1102 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pennington Gap, or 10 miles east of Jonesville, moving east at 35
mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Gate City, Weber City, Mount Carmel, Duffield, Clinchport, Jasper,
Fort Blackmore, Dryden, and Pattonsville.
