An upper level disturbance will track through the region this
afternoon and evening…producing a swath of light snow focused
mainly along and north of I-70. Minor accumulations up to one inch
are expected by this evening with the highest totals likely to
set up from the northern Wabash Valley east through Kokomo and
Muncie. Isolated higher amounts are possible in this zone as well.
With ground and air temperatures remaining well below freezing
today…snow will stick on contact with roadways and other
surfaces. The timing of the snowfall will impact the evening rush
hour. Use caution if traveling later this afternoon and this
evening.
