* WHAT…Large breaking waves of 9 to 12 feet.

* WHERE…North and east facing reefs of Pohnpei and Kosrae.

* WHEN…Until 4 PM ChST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The buoy near Pohnpei continue to show a
steady, long-period north and elevated northeast swell. These two
swells are expected to build, keeping surf hazardous through late
this week.
