* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE…Neches River near Alto.
* WHEN…Until late Friday night.
* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, Expect moderate to severe flooding of the
heavily wooded floodplain. Boat ramps and picnic areas will be
completely inundated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:15 PM CST Sunday the stage was 18.1 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:15 PM CST Sunday was 18.3 feet.
– Forecast…The Neches River southwest of Alto is currently at
a flat crest, and is expected to begin slowly falling late
Monday, and below the 16 foot flood stage early Thursday
afternoon and continue falling to 14.9 feet Friday evening.
