counties, Rutland and Windsor.
* WHEN…Until 800 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 154 AM EST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain and
snowmelt due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and
2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
At 150 AM the stage on the Ottauquechee River at West
Bridgewater was 6.30 feet. Flooding begins downstream at 6.50
feet. At 6.50 feet, high water will impact low lying
properties along the river near Route 4 from Killington
downstream to Bridgewater. River Road in Bridgewater Corners
will experience minor flooding.
