THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE
COLORADO AVALANCHE INFORMATION CENTER.

…AVALANCHE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM THURSDAY UNTIL 5 PM
THURSDAY…

*WHAT… Dangerous avalanche conditions develop on Thursday. Expect
the Avalanche Danger to rise to HIGH (Level 4 of 5).

*WHERE… Park Range, Medicine Bow Mountains, Never Summer
Mountains, Gore Range, and the Western Front Range including parts
of Rocky Mountain National Park.

*WHEN… Expect dangerous avalanche conditions to begin on Thursday
morning by about 5:00 AM and last through Thursday at 5:00 PM.

*IMPACTS… High snowfall rates and strong winds will create
dangerous avalanche conditions by Thursday morning. Large and
dangerous avalanches will be easy to trigger once the new snow
accumulates. Avalanches will run naturally.
